Caught Juicing

I have very interesting storage ideas.  I have been keeping our juicer in our laundry room- a very logical place for a kitchen electric, right?

Well it was time to take it out and make it work!  We washed up some fruits and veggies and decided to juice.  It was not even my idea- hubby was all over it!

Here is what we used:

  • 3-4 cucumbers
  • 5 carrots
  • 1 apple
  • 1/2 lime
The tasted was interesting at first, but I had some for breakfast today- the flavors blended together overnight and it tasted really good!  I hope I don't turn into a juicing addict like the rest of the bloggers- if I do, it could be worse, right?

I do realize it kinda looks like toxic waste, but it's good for me!  Let's see how long this keeps me full- along with my egg sandwich!  Let's have a great Monday and pretend it's 5:00 already, deal?

Sometimes the best juices look like crap.. lol. You gotta get past the cosmetics, I suppose!! :)

Growing up we had a juicer and I remember drinking a lot of Carrot Juice...if I had a real kitchen, I would get one.

I just got a juicer last week! Can't wait to make some healthy juice every morning!

This is the reason why I want a juicer, because you can create the most RANDOM juices and if you don't like it, well, at least you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it! You can make small batches and test them out, or turn it into popsicles!

I haven't given juicing a try yet. I guess it doesn't look so yummy but it's all in the name of health!
