2 Month Recap

Hey ya'll!  Happy Friday!  It's November 6th, and that means I have been a married lady for 2 months now!

In honor of this super important anniversary, I decided to do another recap of our wedding.  If you missed any of the other recaps, just look under 'wedding' and prepare to be mildly amused.  This time, it' the ceremony.  My favorite part of the wedding decor was definitely the ceremony.

Our friend Faye was our florist and we had many calls at midnight, not only calming down my obsessions, but going over each thing in detail- OK, mostly to calm down my obsessions.
Before the ceremony, we had a few private rituals and I'll show my favorite part- when my husband covered my face with my veil.  The was the 'oh crap, I'm getting married' moment of my day.

Hubby got his walk down the plank

My parents solemnly walked me down the aisle

There was a little choreography involved here that didn't go as planned but we were all smiles!

We drank wine

And he was mine when we sealed the deal with a kiss

We walked out, both excited and hoping to not fall down and trip on my dress

And my mom gave out high fives like a basketball player greeting fans after a game.  With all due respect, it was kinda her championship game.

We ran away and got to soak in the moments together for a few minutes and it was one of the happiest parts of the day.

I got my dress bustled and so that I could dance like a crazy woman and get the party started

And we started the party in style

Happy 2 month anniversary Hubs- we made it this far!
