Taking the (Freak) Show on the Road

Can we do the Friday dance yet?  If you are on the East Coast and reading this, I think so!  It's even too late for me and almost Friday!
On Thursday I packed all three meals to go with me since I had work and school back to back with no break to stop in between.  It's OK, I like an intense life.  Here is what I planned for myself the night before:
I made a wrap like so:
  • Whole wheat wrap, gouda cheese slice, baked eggplant, sprouts, hot mustard, and organic chicken is somewhere under there
When I woke up, it was go, go, go!  My overnight Oats in a Jar were eaten in a car!
Don't worry, I wasn't driving while I ate my blueberry, strawberry, hemp protein overnight OIAJ...soooo good!

I flopped my lunch with my dinner and had a wrap at my desk:
Then dinner didn't happen.  I was supposed to have a salad but I wasn't in the mood for salad.  I had a smoothie and then a wrap when I get home.  I love being prepared, but I live life on the wild side and can't be bothered to eat something if I don't want it!

Gym Fail:
I tell you guys most of the time when I make it to the gym (I've gone every day since Sunday, go ME!) but I should sometimes tell you when I don't, like today!  I packed my clothes and shoes and drove over right after class at 9:45 tonight.  I don't sleep at night, so I thought I could stay up anyways and tire myself out.  As I got to the gym, I pulled my stuff out and found that I only packed one sock.  Oops!  Major fail.  I took it as a sign to come home and go to bed instead!

Any funny gym stories for me?

There's been a few times where I've gone to the gym first thing in the morning and forgot to pack my make-up! I don't wear a ton of make-up... but without the little make-up that I do wear... I feel naked ;)

umm one time I forgot a towel and i didn't realize till i was done with my shower in the locker room. I was in the shower stall and was forced to air dry in there then run out to my grab my bag so i was runnign around naked in the locker room for too long!

This might be TMI, but I forgot an extra tampon once...I asked like four people and none of them had one, so eventually I had to go to the front desk and ask one of the ladies there if there was some sort of club stash. Thakfully, she had one in her purse. So embarassing haha!!

Ooh that wrap, yum! I never thought to do eggplant in a salad.

My funny gym stories usually involve falling off a treadmill because I'm spacing on a friend, a magazine, or sports center!

I swear I already commented but it disappeared! I am horrible about packing for the gym. I always forget something important like a sports bra..

LOVE your overnight oats!! Wow, they sound so good. I've actually never tried overnight oats before. I have tried OIAJ though, and I'm not a huge fan. I know, I know, crazy!

The sock was definitely a sign. I hope you got some good sleep!

How refreshing that you forgot a sock at home and happily packed up for home. Not pushing ourself and going home for sleep is DEFINITELY something to be proud of...sometimes, you feel the pressure to have to hit up the gym in order to be a good "health" blogger, but hey, even Jillian Michaels says, there is nothin' more important than sleep. :)

OIAj...gosh i still need to try that. I love how your combo is so full of berries too!! Yum!
