Every Day I'm Hustling

Wednesdays are my marathon days.  I was out of the house from 6:30 AM until 8:30 PM and somehow I'm still smiling :)

I had class and went for a quick workout.  I should explain that none of the physical part of my workout was fast.  I spent an hour there and ran (in anyone else's case jogged or maybe crawled) 3.2 miles in 36 minutes.  I was almost always the slowest kid in PE when we ran the mile, except for the kids who were recovering from ankle injury or the troublemakers who just chose not to run.  I still enjoyed it and I ran to some fun music.  One day I'll share my awesomely bad taste in music.  I did do some stretching to 2Pac's "California Love."  That's my version of OMMM.

Once we came home I was in the mood for my new obsession- butternut squash with spinach covered in ketchup and tabasco.  Sick, I know.

While I worked on this, the gymrat had is smoothie directly from the blender cup:

I also worked on some sugar snap peas and hummus:

And built a leaning sandwich tower for the husband's school dinner tomorrow:

The real art is getting it to close and not jump apart.  I've become a master at it and can probably give the Subway sandwich professionals a run for their money.

I also got a package tonight with a new cookie and by Moo cards!  I'll share both of those tomorrow.  My cards are for the Foodbuzz Food Festival.  I can't believe they are letting me in, but I'm so excited!  I hope I don't get too starstruck there!  Are any of you going?

I wish so much that I was going to the Foodbuzz food festival - but it would be a fortune for me to go, since I live in Canada.

Your Wednesday is like mine! Except I don't have to leave until 7:30, but I still get home around 8:30. I'm so happy we have next Wednesday off for Veterans Day!
Have fun at the festival!
